These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of bookmcg.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by Murchison Consulting Group, LLC (“Murchison Consulting Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or booking a call, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our services
Murchison Consulting Group provides consulting, coaching, training, technical writing, and related professional services across four areas: grant & government contracting consulting, training, technical writing for licensing & credentialing, and business consulting. Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are defined in a separate proposal or agreement.
2. Strategy call bookings and the booking fee
- Strategy calls are 45-minute sessions booked and paid through our scheduling provider. The current booking fee is shown on the scheduling page at the time you book.
- The booking fee reserves dedicated time on our calendar and is credited in full toward any service you subsequently engage.
- You may reschedule by contacting us at least 24 hours before your appointment. Because the fee reserves dedicated time, it is generally non-refundable for missed appointments or same-day cancellations, though it remains creditable toward future services at our discretion.
- Fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are subject to change; the fee shown at the time you book applies to that booking.
3. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and the materials, access, and timely cooperation reasonably needed for us to perform our services. The quality and timeliness of deliverables depend in part on your input.
4. No guarantee of specific results
We bring experience, method, and effort to every engagement, but outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — including your market, execution, and third-party decisions such as grant awards, licensing approvals, and contract selections. We do not guarantee any specific result, award, approval, or level of revenue. Our services are provided for professional and informational purposes and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and the Murchison Consulting Group name and marks — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or used without permission. Custom deliverables created for a client are governed by the applicable engagement agreement.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party providers. You agree to their terms when you submit payment. Engagement fees beyond the booking fee are due as set out in the applicable proposal or agreement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Murchison Consulting Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and tools (such as our booking calendar). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and changes take effect when posted.
